The PredictX party at the Business Travel People Awards 2026, with both plaques: Account Management highly commended, Travel Technology Innovator won.
The PredictX Business Intelligence Analyst Team was highly commended in Account Management Team of the Year at the Business Travel People Awards 2026, on Tuesday 15 September at the Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden, London. It was the first year PredictX had entered these awards, and our analysts came home with a plaque.
Congratulations to the Clarity Account Management Team, who won the category. The same evening, the PredictX team won the team category of Travel Technology Innovator.
A high commendation is a placing rather than a win, and this one means a great deal to us. It came in a category about how a team looks after its clients, in a room of 360 people from across business travel.
What does Account Management Team of the Year recognise?
Account Management Team of the Year recognises a business travel team that looks after its clients proactively and consultatively, and goes further than the account asks on service, care and value. The Business Travel Magazine, which runs the awards, publishes the wording in its People Awards category definitions, quoted here in full:
Recognising a team from any sector of business travel that has taken a proactive and consultative approach to account management and has gone above and beyond to provide unrivalled customer service, care and value to their client(s).
Look at what the definition leaves open. It names no job title, and it opens the category to any sector of business travel. What it asks about is how a team treats its clients, and that is why a team of analysts belongs in it.
Why is an analyst team up for account management?
At PredictX, account management runs through analysts: every client has a dedicated Client Analyst, and the Business Intelligence Analyst Team supports the dashboards and reports built to each client's business needs. Both are jobs done with clients, and analysts do both.
Many awards in business travel go to technology, and to the companies that sell it. Far fewer go to the service underneath, and to the people who give it. We think the service is where clients judge a travel and expense data company in the end.
Our page on travel data APIs for data engineers puts the analysts' part in its own terms: support from the PredictX BI Analyst team helps data engineers build dashboards and reports tailored to specific business needs. That support is the service we mean.
Who leads the PredictX Business Intelligence Analyst Team?
Alex Hyde leads the PredictX Business Intelligence Analyst Team, which put its entry together for PredictX's first year at the Business Travel People Awards. Its work usually shows up inside a client's dashboards and reports rather than on a stage, which is exactly why a night in its name matters to us.
Alex Hyde, who leads the team, on what the commendation means:
Most of what we do happens out of sight, in the dashboards and reports we support for each client's business needs. To be highly commended for account management in our first year at these awards is something the whole team can be proud of. That night belonged to all of us.
What was the night like at the Grand Connaught Rooms?
The Business Travel Magazine called it the biggest ceremony in the history of the awards: 360 guests at the Grand Connaught Rooms, 21 categories, and trophies presented to winners and highly commended entries alike. The awards are in their 15th year and are judged by an independent panel of industry experts, many of whom were in the room.
The magazine's People Awards 2026 winners report also records the Wandering Hands band, "back by popular demand", playing a personalised tune as each winner came to the stage. Speaking after the ceremony, Danny Cockton, one of the original founders of the awards, said the night was a reminder that "keeping travellers safe, costs controlled and relationships well maintained can be supported by technology, but requires the expertise, strategic thinking and empathy of people to deliver results. It's still a people business, after all".
We build software, and we agree with every word of that. The photograph below was taken in the ballroom, with the Account Management plaque in a colleague's hands and a smile to match. For a first year at these awards, it was quite a night.

Our thanks
Thank you to The Business Travel Magazine for fifteen years of awards that recognise people, and to the independent panel of industry experts who judged them. Congratulations again to the Clarity Account Management Team, and to every winner and highly commended entry on the night.
Most of all, thank you to Alex Hyde, Ian Patmore, Andrew White and the Business Intelligence Analyst Team. Everyone at PredictX, CEO Keesup Choe and co-founder Ayesha Shah included, is proud of you.
PredictX people in this story, on LinkedIn:
What is PredictX?
PredictX is the agentic AI data intelligence platform for travel and expense, headquartered in London. Every agent on the platform runs inside PredictX's agentic AI framework, with governed data access, human-in-the-loop checkpoints and self-validation on every output.
The agents are the newer layer. Beneath them sits a decade of work bringing travel and expense records together and checking them, so the figures an agent starts from have already been validated. Every answer it returns is cited and traced to its source.
What do Cogent by PredictX and Orchestra by PredictX do?
Day to day, teams work with those agents in Cogent, our travel and expense workspace: they ask a question in plain language, and specialist agents plan the work, run it across live booking, card and expense records, and return a validated answer.
Orchestra, the AI agent team for travel and expense, runs whole projects your team directs, from a project library that keeps growing. A project manager agent works through the scope with you and drafts the plan, which waits for your approval before anything runs; specialist agents then work in parallel, and anything surprising comes back to you for review. The deliverable returns cited and editable, whether that is an airline negotiation pack or a scored hotel RFP, and it re-runs on your schedule.
Four of the six largest global travel and expense programmes run on PredictX.
Bring the travel and expense question your programme has waited longest to answer to a live session on data shaped like yours. Cogent answers it, and Orchestra plans the project for your approval.
